The voyage will be aboard the Atlantis, a 57m Tall Ship (comparable with the original trip of a 59.8m vessel), operated by the Tall Ship Company. Each voyage will take 34 young people and 2 Leaders, therefore enabling three voyages, each one leg of a three part journey from the Isle of Wight to southern Spain, via Portugal. The expedition will not increase in price.

The trips will represent a life changing experience for many of our Young people. They will be able to count the trip towards their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Team building will be a big part of the preparation for the event, so by the time the trip takes place, contingents will be able to work together and have an understanding how they will be divided into ‘watches’ on board and the responsibility they will have for the rest of the ship. We will still be running the camp in 2008 for all participants, keep this date free. We will reevaluate the recently postponed activity day.

The voyage dates are:

1. Voyage 1: 9 August 20.00 hours boarding in Cowes UK, 15 August disembarking in La Coruna (ES) at 12.00 hours
2. Voyage 2: 15 August 20.00 hours boarding in La Coruna, 21 August disembarking in Lisbon (PT) at 12.00 hours
3. Voyage 3: 21 August 20.00 hours boarding in Lisbon, 27 August disembarking in Cadiz at 12.00 hours.
